After completing an internship and instructing some more seasons, Hannah joined the EA team in the marketing department. Her ski instructing experience, love for snow and naturally, her understanding of how the internship program works made her a perfect fit for the company. She loves setting soon-to-be instructors up in this industry and watching them enjoy the snow as much as she does!

What is your favorite travel memory?

It's hard to pinpoint a single moment. I enjoy the feeling when a plane takes off and you know you're heading to a different country. I enjoy the fact that when traveling, your mood is naturally lifted and also finding the little tidbit parts of other cultures that Google can't show you and that you can't find anywhere else. There's always something new to learn and new things to see for yourself.

Not to mention the fact that when traveling, you always come home appreciating it and what you have that little bit more. It gives you a positive outlook on life and that is a great thing.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I never thought that training as a ski instructor would open the door for me to work in the digital marketing industry and that I would be able to encourage others to join me in this profession and follow their love of snow.

Now, my experiences and knowledge are put to good use and in this position, I am able to help other keen people around the world become instructors too.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

What began with a ski instructing internship and ski instructing for one of our program participants in Canada has resulted in Revelstoke Mountain Resort, BC employing Tom as a full-time photographer for the resort and he now owns his own photography company as a result.

He is a specialist in snow photography and videography and has no plans to stop anytime soon.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Well as I am a skier, I would personally pick the ski instructor internship plus program. Although this is the more premium internship option, for my own personal development, this program would have more to offer.

You receive everything that the internship program has to offer including the world-class training, the guaranteed job offer at the resort of your choice, the examination fees, and accommodation throughout the course. However, it also includes other helpful courses and training such as level two training, park & freeride training, an avalanche safety course, and a first aid course.
