What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory would have to be my motorcycle road trip across Australia. Fresh out of college, I decided to head over to Australia for a year to do some travelling and find some work. I ended up buying a motorcycle after working in Sydney for a few months, and then bam, I was off on the open road riding up the East Coast of Australia. I met some amazing people, and did and saw so many incredible things along the way. It is something I will never forget!

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Working here at Intro Travel has taught me many things along the way. Today nearly two years later, I still find myself growing and learning on the job constantly.

Some skills I have improved on personally would definitely be time management and organization. It’s true what they say that when you love your job, it almost becomes like you’re not working at all.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

I’ve heard many great stories from people coming on our trips. One I will never forget was told to me by a girl who had been stuck in a tiny village in Thailand when her transport bus had broken down. She ended up having to make friends with a young girl who spoke no English, and who brought her to sleep and stay at her family’s home.

The way she explained her experience was super heartwarming and very interesting it was clearly a very important part of her travels. It was very fun having her explain her unexpected stay at this family’s home.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

If I could, I would choose to check out our Vietnam tour. I’ve never had the chance to make it over to Vietnam, and it is always somewhere that has interested me very much.

I love travelling and eating new food, and I think Vietnam would definitely deliver on that front! Another thing that draws me towards Vietnam so much is the beautiful Halong Bay.

I’ve heard so many great things from fellow travelers, and it is somewhere I need to get to as soon as possible.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

There’s a few things that I like to think make us unique as a team. At Intro Travel, we really have the family type vibe. When majority of us are living/working abroad, it’s truly nice to have that sense of friendship and togetherness.

As a team, I think it shows how passionate all of us are to be here doing this job and working together. I also think that’s a valuable part of who we are and how we operate. Travelling is something very important to us, and getting to help share that experience with others is an amazing feeling.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

One of the most important factors to become successful is for us to be able to deliver the best possible experience.

It is our job to make sure you have the best possible time when travelling with us.

We work together to deliver and help with every aspect of your travels, from travel advice and help to just an amazing experience on one of our trips.
