What is your favorite travel memory?
I love to travel by car and discover new cities. I remember travelling through mountain roads and discover the city of Cazorla, as well as the first time I visited Baeza, which make it look like I was in a true medieval city. Our area combines different feelings because students can find nature and culture in the same area.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
I have learnt a lot about language tourism since the university hardly explains this typology to you, and now I have learnt from the most important institutions in the teaching of Spanish to create a good language program according to the needs of the students, taking care of every detail so that their stay in our school Miguel de la Hoz is the most enriching for them, as well as for us.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
A student called Alex was really surprised when she discovered the olive oil culture. She was really excited because Spanish people usually cook every dish with olive oil and, on the contrary, her family always cooks meals with butter. Sometimes these differences make us live funny moments. We discover how different every culture is.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
Summer camps without a doubt! Because it is a balanced mixture between learning and fun, with a multitude of activities.
It combines classes with an attractive program of activities, visits and excursions designed to put the student in contact with the knowledge of Spanish culture and our way of life. You can also stay in a youth hostel or at home with local families.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
What makes our school unique is undoubtedly its excellent location; we are surrounded by 3 natural parks (Segura, Las Villas and Cazorla) in addition to a few kilometers from 2 cities World Heritage by UNESCO, and our city is the largest olive oil producer in the world, which also makes our cuisine exquisite.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
The most important factor to be a successful company is our staff, which is highly qualified and with a clear vocation to customer satisfaction. We also offer a wide variety of courses to suit all tastes of our students and a great value for money. For us, the most important part of the school is the students´comfortability.
