What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is from when I decided to take part in a language immersion experience in Florence, Italy. I spent two weeks there studying Italian, a language I am truly passionate about, while being surrounded by the beauty and history of that incredible city. I stayed with a local family, which made the experience even more special, as it gave me the chance to really connect with the culture and daily life. It was an unforgettable combination of learning, personal growth, and discovery.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Working at Expanish has had a huge impact on me, both professionally and personally. It has helped me grow in my career, but also shaped my personality. I used to be a much more introverted person, but Expanish gave me the opportunity to meet new people every week from all over the world, people who always have unique stories to share.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

Over the years, I’ve heard countless funny, touching, and crazy stories from students. The ones that impact me the most are often from students in their 80s who decide to embark on an adventure, sometimes completely on their own, coming to another country to study a new language, often without smartphones or knowledge of other languages. It’s also incredibly inspiring to see students who initially come just for a short holiday or adventure, and end up so captivated by the experience that they decide to completely change their lives and make Barcelona their new home.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would love to take part in one of the faculty-led programs we offer, whether in Spain or Argentina. Every time I read through the itineraries, I feel a little envious of the students who get to experience them. It’s the kind of opportunity I didn’t have during my own university years, but if I could go back in time, I would join one of those programs without hesitation.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Its strong philosophy of teamwork. It’s not just a value written on paper, but something you can truly feel the moment you walk into our offices. I love working in such a multicultural environment, even within our own staff, it’s incredibly inspiring. I’ve been especially proud of my team in those moments when everyone comes together to support each other, showing that when we all row in the same direction with equal dedication and effort, we can overcome any challenge.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

The attention to detail and genuine passion for the product. In the service industry especially, when you put real care and dedication into what you do, it directly translates into the quality of the experience and the satisfaction of the students. Making them feel cared for and valued is absolutely key.
