What is your favorite travel memory?

I used to be an au pair in U.S for one year and lived with my host family in Boston MA.Besides the U.S., I’ve also visited countries like Australia, the UK, Singapore, and the Philippines. But of all the places I’ve been, Boston remains the most memorable—not just for its rich history and beautiful scenery, but especially because of the family who welcomed me as one of their own. Although more than a decade has passed since my au pair days back in 2014, I still cherish the bond we share and keep in touch with them to this day.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have been dedicated to LoPair for a decade. Whether through the Au Pair in America program or the Au Pair in China program, what I cherish most is the opportunity to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds around the world. It brings me a deep sense of fulfillment—not merely “working,” but truly helping to build bridges of friendship between China and other cultures. Through these meaningful interactions, I have the privilege of sharing insights about China with these inspiring individuals, while they also continually enrich my understanding of the world.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

A lot people are not familiar with China before they actually come once. We have a student who loved China so much after he joined the program, and he decided to apply for the university in Beijing. He has finished his study now and also wants to stay here for getting a job. Chinese culture was so attractive to him and he almost decided to stay here in the future. This is very amazing!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Our company also has an au pair program for the U.S and Germany. Since I already joined au pair in America program, I would like to spend some time to learn about Europe's culture. Although they both belong to Western culture, they definitely are different. I would like to see the difference, experiencing the difference and enrich my life experience.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Our company is one of the first Au Pair companies in China and we are the only agency in China that has won the IAPA international Au Pair award so far. This shows the professionalism of our service and our advancement.
I'm proud to see our company's growth in the recent years, and we have successfully developed a lot of different programs. We're able to offer all these valuable opportunities for all the youth from all over the world.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Positive attitude, creativity mindset , team spirit, and patience
A group of people can share ideas and work closely together, making every step more firm and steady. At Lopair, everyone always tries to help one another and contribute their thoughts to inspire each other. This kind of collaboration is incredibly helpful for broadening your perspective and solving problems from different angles.
