When you are applying for PA school, you often have to have between 1,000 and 4,000 hours of direct patient experience. All of your hours in this internship count towards that requirement. This internship has you shadowing doctors with various specialties such as: OBS/GYN, Pediatrics and Child Health, General Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry and Accidents & Emergency. This internship is completely customizable and allows you to choose which of these specialties you want to hone in on.
