An Au Pair very much becomes part of the family, helping to look after the children and the day to day housework. All food and accommodation is provided, together with weekly pocket money of up to $AU350. Additionally you’ll have most evenings and weekends free to explore all that our great country has to offer.

Do I need formal qualifications in childcare?
If you love children, are self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy and are able to follow instruction and learn on the job you’re a great candidate for an Au Pair role. Niche Au Pairs will match you with a family according to your level of experience.
If you do have formal childcare or teaching qualifications, being an Au Pair is a prime opportunity to build on your skillset. Not only will you have a fantastic year, but your experience will position you superbly when you get home.

How can Niche Au Pairs help me?
Niche Au Pairs offers a comprehensive and tailored service. We interview hosts and Au Pairs to closely understand the needs and expectations of both parties in order to match them closely. Unlike many Agencies, Niche Au Pairs offers 'No Agency Fees' Placements.

Most roles require working up to 30 hours per week, with a minimum of two free days each week so you have plenty of time to explore. We also help Au Pairs with the getting ready and settling in parts.

Our families are professionals, based throughout Australia who would love you to join their family. All participating host families have local police checks and personal references.
