An international medical internship will greatly enhance your professional resume and many of our alumni have been accepted to medical and physicians assistant programs after having completed their medical internships with VACorps.

You will work exclusively in the public healthcare sector of South Africa and primarily in an outpatient clinic setting. It is here you will experience trauma/ER, internal medicine, maternity, orthopaedics, and even some small day surgeries.
