We at Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary - Thailand & Foundation are looking for a Volunteer and Teaching Coordinator. This is a fulltime job based on our site in a Karen village in Mae Chaem district and the candidate will be living in a rural and quite isolated environment with basic living conditions (sometimes including cold bucket showers). This opportunity is open to all nationalities.

Applicants must have previous teaching experience and experience working/volunteering on conservation or teaching programs abroad. Desirable skills include a TEFL or teaching degree, experience of leading groups of volunteers, working with minority communities, knowledge of Karen or Thai language and culture or experience of working with elephants, wildlife or conservation.

This is an unpaid position for a 6 months contract, but includes all expenses including food, accommodation and visa costs.
Applicants must be able to commit to at least 6 months with a 3 months probation period.
