Job Description
Dublin is the political and legal capital of Ireland and the city’s legal district is home to nine courts including the High, Supreme, District, and Criminal Courts. The law in Ireland consist of constitutional, statute and common law. Law interns can work in the office of the government’s legal advisor, or with members of Irish parliament on legal research and administration. There are also opportunities to work alongside Irish barristers and observe court proceedings. Law firms offer law students, graduates, and professionals experience across the various practices of law including: international, family, criminal, and corporate law. Legal advice centers provide opportunities for private consultations and referrals with refugees and other marginalized members of society needing legal assistance.
