CapEnglish is a French company, established over 10 yrs ago. Our aim is to provide quality teachers to schools all around France. We focus mostly on young learners (3-11yrs old) and offer 4 programmes:
• Scolaire (school hours)
• Periscolaire (lunchtime or after school workshops) or
• Centre Aéré (Wednesday mornings)
• Language Assistant internship (live with host family, meals and accommodation provided & teach 20hrs per week at a school and 7 hours of language support to the host family)

Job Description

CapEnglish is urgently looking for several Language Assistants to take up internship positions in France.

This internship programme is an ideal opportunity for students with an interest in French culture/language and who enjoys working with kids. Applications for non-EU member state candidates welcome. It is unlikely that you will need a visa if your stay is less than 90 days, however please do verify this with your local consulate. For the 6 month internship you will require a visa if you do not hold a valid EU passport.

The programme offers:
• 3 or 6 month Convention de Stage (internship contract) - starts late Sept/early Oct or Jan
• Accommodation with a vetted host family, your own room.
• All meals provided
• 50% of public transport to and from work reimbursed
• 670€ gross salary per month
• Supportive teaching team
• Local Airport transfer to host family
• Future teaching vacancies with CapEnglish
• Improved French
• Certification of completion

Requirements:
• Enjoy working with young kids
• English as a first language
• Adaptable, team player with excellent comms
• Conversational French is needed, B2 level
• Eligible for an internship & working in France. Your internship contract will need to be signed by your uni.
