Portuguese Part-time Course

In a part-time course, students will be able to acquire and improve communicative structures in Portuguese and actively participate in tasks that will give them confidence in using the Portuguese language outside the classroom. The end goal of communicating better in Portuguese is achieved through a focus on vocabulary acquisition and a systematic approach to grammar. During this course, students will have to take on the additional commitment to consolidate their knowledge through assigned homework. Because the course is only part-time, students are actively encouraged to use their time wisely outside of the classroom and practice their Portuguese in real-life situations. This can often speed up the pace of learning within class time. After school, students may choose to continue to learn through optional extra-curricular activities run by the school.
