ESL Literacy is designed to build foundational skills for nonnative speakers in American English, focusing on aural/oral development. The goal of this course is to develop students’ ability to understand and produce the basic sounds, vocabulary, and sentence patterns of American English.. A working knowledge of English means better job opportunities worldwide.
