American English Academy

The American English Academy (AEA) is an accredited international K-12 school located in Sofia, Bulgaria. Based on international Best Practices and accreditation standards, the school's curriculum follows the U.S. Common Core Educational Standards. AEA is fully accredited by Accreditation International, U.S. National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), and U.S. Middle States Association – Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS). The American English Academy offers optional Dual Language Program which incorporates classes both in English and Bulgarian languages for Bulgarian students in grades 1-9. The Dual Language Program follows the U.S. Common Core standards and the requirements of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education.
