Bugoye Children Advocacy and Life Planning Organization

The Bugoye Children Advocacy and Life Planning Organization (BUCALPO) is a community service organization that aims to provide women and children with opportunities for better education, health, nutrition, and life. Bugoye is a rural village in Mokuno district in the eastern central part of Uganda with numerous student dropouts due to poverty and poor health. Established in 2014, the organization develops programs that empower orphans and vulnerable children in the community to strive for formal education in fighting poverty. We focus on providing shelter for abandoned children, educating young girls about teenage pregnancy and early marriages, and offering feasible education programs and institutions for all children, especially those who are not able to afford school fees.
