Cadmus LifeSharing

Why choose Cadmus LifeSharing?

Perhaps you are sitting at home looking for something different? alternative? You have an interest in helping others with intellectual and developmental disabilities, but most "Service Provider" models leave a sense of dissatisfaction?

Cadmus LifeSharing is an intentional community in the Berkshires, Great Barrington, MA, where we strive together to create meaningful lives for individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities, working primarily out of the Anthroposophical modality (think Waldorf Schools and Camphill Communities).

Volunteers live-in with a family and individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities. Whether you are preparing shared meals, celebrating festivals together, or supporting with therapeutic, or work activities, at Cadmus you are building community together.

volunteer benefits include room and board, a monthly stipend, auto use, and participation in weekly adult education sessions related to studying youth guidance and social therapy from the Anthroposophical view of the human being.
