YWAM nurse in children’s programs

My time in Ecuador was quite fun. Before the programs I got to tour around Quito, which is a great place. The Cristobal Colon Spanish school was very helpful taking me to programs and suggestions of place to go. It was nice being picked up at airport and being accompanied on bus and train to be with children in preschool where they learn EnglishI so I talked to them with a word or two at a time and they laughed and repeated. The brain damaged children mostly were non responsive but it was nice to see the kind care the volunteers were giving with feeding and activities of daily living. The rooms were all decorated with fun paintings and activities were enjoyed. I will share this trip info with my mission base of Youth With a Mission in Hawaii’s preschool staff training.
