Dolphin Encountours Research Center

The Dolphin Encountours Research Center is a certified international project founded in the 90’s in Mozambique. Its primary purpose is to support educational and ethical marine mammal eco-tourism, which in turn funds long-term monitoring and conservation efforts.

Offering volunteer stays where participants can gain hands-on experience with marine mammals, particularly dolphins. Volunteers engage in regular in-water encounters while contributing to collecting baseline data for research.

This organization not only facilitates interactions between humans and marine mammals but also plays a crucial role in the conservation of these species in their natural habitat through education and research.
