I had a great experience working with dream nannies. The process for applying is really easy and they very quickly matched me with a list of suitable families. I was able to secure an aupair job within a few days of joining the site. The agency were always on hand to answer any questions I had. If you are looking to make new aupair friends they also host aupair events. Would 100% recommend using dream nannies as they took all of the hard work out of finding a family. They make sure to only match you with families who meet your requirements.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?

I worked with a Malaysian family so got to try lots of new traditional Malaysian food.

Dream Nannies made the whole process easy and I would definitely recommend them. Whether it was helping to understand visa information or debriefing after interviews, I felt very supported each step of the way. During the interview process, Dream Nannies took time to really understand me and my preferences which led to me being placed with a great family. Once I arrived in the UK to begin work as an au pair, Tuuli was a great support and it was comforting knowing I always had someone to help me if needed.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

For me it was meeting the family and learning to live in a house with different routines. But over time I settled in as my family were really good at communicating and ensuring I felt supported. The company also checked in regularly so it really helped knowing I had someone to talk through things if needed.

Dream Nannies made my process from Australia to the UK to work as a live in Au Pair go very smoothly! They made sure to keep in touch every step of the way, sent detailed emails with the process for me to follow, and made sure I made it over here with everything I needed. The process to finding a family was very thorough and I felt in control of who I would be with the whole time too. The staff, especially Tuuli, made sure I was comfortable with the families I talked to, and helped me to find a family who I loved, and who loved me too. I had a very positive experience with them, and would recommend them to others!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

Honestly, probably booking that initial flight! After booking the flight from Australia over to England it became very real that I was leaving all my friends and family. I was okay though because I knew I had the support of everyone I knew at home, the staff at Dream Nannies, and from the family I would be moving over to live with.

I'm glad I went through Dream Nannies' au pair program. It was a great experience from the very beginging til the end. It was quick and proffesional and I was so lucky to match with an amazing family in such a short time. They have teammed up with the agency in London and have offered lots of great help before and after the arrival in the UK. They checked in with you and ensure you are okay and will be there if you need help. I would highly recommed this program if you are looking at starting Au Pair/Live in Nanny experience!

Dream Nannie’s were very helpful in finding me a family and giving me ongoing support and resources during the process of my visa and move to the UK. They have continued to send helpful links and recourses on how to settle it, places to visit and instructions for all the behind the scenes admin that is required when you move to a new country. I would recommend this program to anyone who enjoys working with children, travel and wants to experience life on other countries. Overall a great opportunity.

I would do it sooner!
