eGlobal Family

eGlobal Family (formerly known as Email Foster Parents International) is a Hawaii-based registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, founded in 2000. eGlobal Family's mission is to transform the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in developing countries by linking them to compassionate and responsible supporters. Through the emotional and financial support of their "email foster parents," these children are afforded the opportunity to develop into more confident and self-reliant individuals. Our work is primarily in SE Asia with our largest partner orphanage, Future Light Orphanage, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (which has just under 200 children in residence). We are not adoption agency. Rather, we aim to provide both financial and emotional support to the children at our partner orphanages. Through our eFoster Parent Program, each child is matched with an "email foster parent" who takes on the role of a mentor, and they communicate regularly by (monitored) email exchanges.
