ELIX

ELIX, Conservation Volunteers Greece, is a non-governmental not-for profit organization promoting voluntary service and education, since 1987. The main aim of ELIX is the personal development of individuals as citizens of the world, through active participation in international voluntary projects.

ELIX realizes international actions of voluntary contribution, aiming mostly at the protection of the environment, the preservation of our cultural heritage, intercultural exchanges and social service projects, through multidimensional activities acquiring expertise in the field of international volunteer recruitment.

Through its activities, ELIX brings change on the grassroots level through the opportunities offered to volunteers and local communities, to NGOs, to the third sector, to policy making, in education, to promote and support civic engagement in community service.
