FOCUSED

Foundation for Community Utilization of Sustainable Empowerment and Development (FOCUSED) is a community based organization. Its mission is to provide support to women and youth communities in Uganda to sustainably engender their own development for self-sustenance.

The organization supports vulnerable women and youth with social and economic empowerment which includes: i) micro-enterprise projects for income generation and initiation of employment opportunities; ii) environment protection and promotion; iii) Water and Sanitation promotion in the community; iv) appropriate technology and ICT skills promotion for youth in and out of school; v) games and sports for the youth and Social Research.

FOCUSED activities are pertinent to the sustainable development and empowerment principles which prescribe community engagement, participation and control in addressing common root issues in communities; plus, meaningful, partnerships, capacity building, accountability, and poverty reduction
