Fundación Brethren y Unida - FBU

We are a social justice organization focusing on local community development in the Ecuadorian Andes. Our activities include organic farming, environmental education, and reforestation. Volunteers can assist us in community teaching assignments (K-8); living and working on our completely organic farm, growing vegetables and staples as well as tending to our animals; instructing English; collecting, growing and planting native species in paramo and dry desert lands; and/or, living with our partner community members, becoming participants in their day-to-day lives. We also offer Spanish instruction.
