Global Language Initiative

The Global Language Initiative is a youth-operated organization acting as a platform for young people all over the world to learn languages ​​and explore other cultures. GLI connects active language learners with people who speak that language fluently. Students are able to cultivate their language skills while volunteers can volunteer simply by talking to someone--all online, from the comfort of their own homes! The GLI team is currently focusing on forging links between English-speaking volunteers — who want to learn about other cultures and obtain volunteer hours — and students who are improving their English language skills.
