Went to Toronto to study English (as a second language). The program totally met my expectations. The international ambiance contributes to improving your fluency since you´ll share classes with students from several countries. The academic aspect has a good level undoubtedly, as well as the teachers and staff, but definitely what helps the most is going out and having contact with native speakers throughout different daily experiences. You will also have the opportunity to live with a homestay family (in case you choose to stay in one) that are mostly Canadians, or families with different backgrounds who have lived in Canada for several years. They will be a support during your stay. ILAC is a great option if you are expecting to learn or improve your English and have amazing experiences with new people. Toronto is a great city to explore, with multiple activities to do and places to visit! You'll find something new to do every day. Take into consideration that it can be hot during summer, and REALLY cold during winter, take precautions! I totally recommend this program and the academy.
What would you improve about this program?
Being more exigent in the highest levels regarding the academic aspect.
