ILSC Teacher Training Centre

I just completed a part-time CELTA course at ILSC and I loved it. The instructors (Carlos, David, Yuli) were all excellent, and the school itself has an awesome vibe. It was no walk in the park but I definitely feel like I learned a lot from it. The instructors provided us with a lot of support. It was super helpful to be able to teach real students during our teaching practice sessions. The observation and input sessions were also very useful. I'd highly recommend ILSC to anyone thinking about completing a CELTA course here in Sydney.

I signed up to do the Trinity CertTESOL at ILSC after the CELTA course that I had paid for in full at IH was dropped when IH Australia closed its doors, declaring bankruptcy. ILSC reached out and said it would honour my CELTA acceptance and IH tuition fees, allowing me to pursue an equivalent qualification at their school. ILSC was prompt and kind in responding to all my enquiries and I am glad I chose to study with them. The teacher trainers, Yulianto and David, at ILSC are really exceptional, with years of experience teaching both the CELTA and Trinity CertTESOL qualifications. It was a pleasure learning from them. The culture at ILSC is positive and supportive and staff go above and beyond to meet students' needs throughout a very intensive course.

I had no idea what to expect taking this course, knowing only that I wanted to make a career change into teaching English to speakers of other languages. I had heard that the Trinity CertTESOL course was very challenging, so I had some doubts about my ability to complete it. But from the very first lesson on, I knew I was in excellent hands.

The course was very well run, especially for such for a fast-moving and intensive course (I completed the 4-week option). The trainers were exceptional - both were very experienced and passionate about the material, and incredibly committed to student success. The campus was very centrally located, with well equipped facilities, supportive staff and a genuine atmosphere of learning that really contributed to the experience of the course.

Looking back, I can unreservedly say that it's been an incredibly rewarding experience both professionally and personally, and immediately led to employment opportunities upon its completion. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering getting certified as a teacher of English to speakers of other languages.

As a non-native English speaker, I was initially apprehensive about enrolling in the Trinity CertTESOL course. However, my experience far exceeded my expectations. I am delighted to share that I secured a teaching position immediately after completing the course, which speaks volumes about the quality of the Trinity CertTESOL certification.

The course was comprehensive and well-structured, but what stood out most was the exceptional support from our trainers, Yuli and Aaron. Yuli’s kindness and patience, coupled with Aaron’s practical insights and constructive feedback, created a supportive and engaging learning environment.

As an L2 speaker, the course boosted my confidence in using English professionally and equipped me with the skills to teach effectively. The practical teaching sessions were particularly valuable. I am immensely grateful to Yuli and Aaron for their unwavering support and excellent training. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to aspiring English language teachers.

I loved my time studying TESOL at ILSC. My instructors Yuli is an artist, his classes are so creative and fun and Clare was so helpful with creating my lesson plans. It can be stressful taking the intensive course but it is definitely worth it. The teaching Practice were amazing because I was able to really apply all the knowledge I was receiving during the classes. I was also encouraged to try different teaching methods and experiment different things into finding my teaching style. The school's campus was also great, the staff was friendly and made me fill comfortable all along. I highly recommend this course.
