Institute for Marine Research

The Institute for Marine Research (IMR) is a grassroots non-profit organisation that conducts long-term and fine-scale research on coral reef ecosystems within the Philippines. IMR proudly creates professional and well-rounded Marine Scientists through their Research Assistant & Fellowship courses, who leave with the knowledge and confidence to develop independent research projects and work with Institutes & NGOs around the world to develop and communicate our current understanding of coral reef ecosystems.
