Institute of Social Work and Social Science

The Institute is a dynamic educational community where Haitian students and foreign volunteers work and learn together. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn Haitian Creole, teach English language or other subjects, collaborate on research and service learning projects in the community, and explore Haitian culture. Our focus is on empowerment and learning while building authentic, mutually respectful relationships within local communities.
