Study Spanish in a picture-perfect Caribbean setting, experience Dominican culture & tradition, and find new friends among people from around the world: Instituto Intercultural del Caribe (IIC) is a language and culture institute, organizing Spanish Immersion and Study Abroad Programs in the Dominican Republic. Besides Spanish, the school also offers German and English classes to Dominican and Haitian students with the goal of creating better future opportunities for themselves and their communities.

For 30 years already, the Institute runs its language school in the small beach town of Sosua near Cabarete/Puerto Plata. Students can sign up for Spanish courses all year round from beginner to advanced levels. Special classes can be booked in addition: fun activities like dance classes, scuba diving and snorkeling experiences as well as intensifying Spanish workshops on pronunciation, on the Dominican culture and educational field trips with your teacher.
