IACE Summer Program in Narni

Narni, the medieval town that inspired C.S. Lewis to name Narnia, is a quaint spot in Umbria, the heart of Italy. This program offered Italian language courses and history and culture lessons followed by ecursions throughout the day. Trips to other cities in Italy like Terni, Spoletto, Assissi, and Rome were all part of the program. We explored museums, churches, and countless archaeological spectacles in our group of about 20 students. It was a fantastic opportunity to be immersed in another culture, while learning so much academically.

What would you improve about this program?
The one thing I would change would be housing. The hostel we stayed at for the duration of the program was a bit low quality, regarding food accommodations.
