No regrets!

I recently completed a training with Luis and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've been thinking about taking a training course for quite a while now, but just hadn't found the right one. I'm glad I waited, because Luis was an incredible trainer. He knows the material and his teaching methods were rigorous. I appreciated that because, even though it pushed me out of my comfort zone, I know I grew so much in my teaching. Luis is knowledgeable and patient. I was also grateful for the way he gave feedback. His attention to specific details really helped me grow. I never perceived his feedback as criticism either, even though I know I had a lot to learn! I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to become an English teacher while spending time in beautiful Mexico!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Try to focus on the coursework during the week and take advantage of all the beautiful things Mexico has to offer on the weekends! Make friends with your classmates. Working together on lesson plans, bouncing ideas off each other, and just having extra support is priceless.
Pros
  • I feel ready for the classroom!
  • I feel much more confident in my teaching ability.
Cons
  • The workload is strenuous and can be exhausting if you don't get enough rest.
