Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya

Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya (KSV) is a residential school, located in a beautiful forest area 18km from Dharwad, in Karnataka State (South India). Founded in 2002, it provides education to nearly 220 children from disadvantaged backgrounds, aged between 5 and 23 years-old. The students learn academic subjects, Hindustani Classical Music, Traditional Dance, and Drama. In addition, food, accommodation, and healthcare are all provided free of cost for the families. Our volunteers take part in our social project as Children's Activity Leaders, Healthcare Professionals, Teachers and Coordinators. KSV is an NGO with no political or religious affiliations.
