Kuzuko was established as a social enterprise with the aim of creating jobs and tackling social issues in the surrounding communities. The Eastern Cape is one of the poorest provinces in South Africa with high rates of unemployment and high prevalence of HIV. The Kuzuko Foundation was founded to take the reserve’s social mission further through environmental education, supporting our local schools, improving access to health care and supporting our local community.
