Lagon Bleu

The Lagon Bleu project is based in Blue Bay, Mauritius. The objectives of the programme are to protect and preserve the natural resources in the lagoon from the threats of pollution and damage caused by over-development and lack of awareness. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work alongside a Mauritian NGO and take part in fish and coral monitoring, beach clean ups, sea turtle research, mangrove planting and working with local communities on various environmentally focused projects.

Volunteers will also be able to explore the beautiful island of Mauritius during their stay as activities such as hiking, canyoning and snorkelling are organised every week.
