Leon Lingua Spanish Language School

Leon Lingua is a world-class Spanish language school that operates out of Casa Elisa in coastal Las Peñitas, Nicaragua, founded by Elisabeth Hofstad in 2011. Because of our deep love for, and commitment to, all things related to teaching, Spanish, and Nicaragua, we set out to build and run a world-class learning institution right here in Las Peñitas.

The majority of our class fees go directly to compensating our teachers and to maintaining our school, Casa Elisa, which also employs local Nicaraguans.
At Leon Lingua, we firmly believe that language learning is a lifelong process that empowers learners to acquire a new life skill that allows them to see, experience, and engage with the world in new and more meaningful way.
