Mama Africa Safari and Trekking

Mama Africa safari & Trekking is a woman Social Enterprises whose vision has been to empower women through travel involved activities such as Safaris, trekking, tours and volunteering, the business that allows everyone who is involved in providing a holiday to share in the economic benefits to the local economy and specific to the local women.

We have hostel and homestay house that give the chance to all local women who wish to work in Tourism a platform to train, motivate, inspire and work freely, We always ensure that, whenever possible, the part of money we spend goes directly to their guiding education, skills building and field practices, a key strategy of ours is to promote the idea of social enterprises in the areas where we work and to develop local social entrepreneurs with the revenue and potential of tourism. We do this by building a long term trust with our partners and investing in a way which reflects the culture of the place and needs of the community.

We have built a homestay and Hostel to attract volunteers, students and any kind of travelers to Tanzania that their trip will represent a significant contribution to the empowerment of local women social enterprises and families and have a really positive impact to the local economy.
