Medi Trip

Medi-Trip specializes in bespoke volunteer programs for students, nurses, doctors and people interested in healthcare projects. We aim to facilitate volunteering experiences in Tanzanian healthcare facilities, mainly hospitals.

Our volunteers have the opportunity to understand the socio economic and health implications of poverty within a developing nation. They experience first-hand the care of vulnerable patients within a healthcare system with limited resources.

The challenges faced will be similar and also completely unfamiliar to those faced at home. The challenge for our volunteers is to break down the cultural barriers that separate and work with their new colleagues towards a common goal: caring for those in need.

They will have the opportunity to experience the public health implications on the wider community through community and home care visits.
