Midwest Teacher Training Program

Norwood English was founded in Japan in 1993 by eight, later to become nine, teachers concerned about the lack of training given to many teachers. All of the founders are experienced teachers and continue to have some involvement with the company, acting as occasional tutors. We began offering distance learning courses in 1995 and were the first to offer courses via the internet. Since 2001 we have been registered in Ireland although we continue to operate throughout the world with tutors based in seven countries. We also have affiliate agreements with language schools, government training providers and educational specialists world-wide.
