Naturaleza de Pacuare

Turtle Conservation Protection Volunteer Program, Pacuare Manatee and Nature Study (Costa Rica)
We are dedicated to conserving the nature of the area, cleaning beaches and conserving the flora and fauna.
We take care of the turtles (Leatherback, green and Carey) since they are in danger of extinction. We help their nesting by relocating the eggs to hatcheries so that the turtles can hatch and move on without humans stealing and selling those eggs.
We also monitor Manaties in the Pacuare River. We study their behavior and their habitat.
You will have 3 meals a day, lodging, drinking water and the wonderful feeling of relaxation listening only to nature and the waves of the sea, since the project is located on Pacuare beach (40 km from Tortuguero Park and 10 km from Limon) . You will live a unique experience with nature seeing all kinds of animals, helping the conservation of turtles and beaches and disconnecting from the world and the stress we have on a daily basis.
