One Ocean Nature Conservation Centre

We are a community-based & Award Winning marine and forest conservation centre on Usukan Island, Sabah, Borneo — operating fully off-grid for nearly a decade. We run an organic coral propagation programme using natural ocean-derived substrates (no man made methods useed), work directly with local fishermen and coastal youth, and protect a living island ecosystem that has faced decades of destructive fishing and coral bleaching. Volunteers don't observe — they work alongside our team on real restoration tasks with measurable, long-term ecological targets. With 200+ volunteers hosted across 30+ Countries, we're a small-scale, high-impact centre for people who want to pour their energy into making an actual impact on the Island.
