Ornek Tahama Foundation

The Ornek Tahama Foundation runs a community center in the village of Voggu in Northern Ghana, where our team of local staff and international volunteers operates a school, a 5-acre working farm, and a clean-water borehole that reaches thousands of neighbors. Volunteers who join us step directly into daily village life — teaching alongside Dagomba educators, tending livestock, sharing meals, and learning greetings in the local Dagbani language. What sets us apart is the ratio: no massive intake groups, no scripted itineraries. Every volunteer works face-to-face with the same students and community members for the duration of their stay, and the community shapes each project from the ground up.
