Our guests are guaranteed to encounter numerous Critically Endangered (CR) species as well as contribute to significant scientific findings e.g. increasing the known global population of CR monkeys by 20% or discovering new species to the country! Guests also play an active role in conservation (for instance by head-starting The Gambia's last turtles) as well as spotting bucket-list species including crocodiles, hippos, vultures, dolphins, baboons and bushbabies!
Project Wild Gambia also provide a cultural experience with dance classes, school visits and beach bonfires with bongos! In order to boost the economy Project Wild Gambia operate exclusively through locally owned businesses and fund conservation initiatives that encourage eco-tourism. Project Wild Gambia is also carbon neutral allowing for a guilt-free trip!
