Rekko Guatemala

The association was originally known as "Rekko: Third Age for the Third World” is now known as "Rekko: Health, Education and Solidarity”. It was founded as a volunteering association in 1980 by Gian-Carlo Noris who remained the main actor in the organisation until he passed away in late 2012.

Rekko works with rural and urban communities offering high quality medical services in exchange for a small donation. The objective is to help solve one of the mayor issues in Guatemala: a lack of access to quality medical services by the most vulnerable parts of society.
