Rural Women and Youth initiative Uganda

Rural women’s and youth initiative is nonprofit making organization working in rural areas of Uganda with vulnerable groups which includes Young mothers, orphans, Batwa and Youth in different activities all aiming at sustaining life and self-support.
The initiative was formed by agroup of youth hailing from Kisoro District.It was as a result of a number of challenges in the local community that needed to be addressed such as child motherhood, HIV/AIDs prevalence, poverty, school drop outs, unemployment among others. By starting the organization, they hoped to empower the vulnerable groups through restoration of hope by provision of education ,health and self reliance activities for a meaningful life.
