Becoming a ski instructor in Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Austria, or another country is more than a ski instructor education, après ski and ski lessons. We both experienced this when we, as 19-year-olds in 2004 and 2006 respectively, took on our first seasons as ski instructors in Austria. We loved every second and experienced that a season as a ski instructor is a journey of personal development. But it is just as much about making new friendships, developing yourself, gaining worldwide life experience, and exploring a new country, language, and culture.

Therefore, in 2012, we decided to start Snowminds to share our passion for the ski instructor life and help others out, so they get the best ski or snowboard instructor season of their life. It has been our goal from day one to prepare our ski instructors as best as possible to pass the instructor training and succeed in the job as a ski instructor. Thus, creating the framework for an experience that also adds value to a future study
