Stand Up 4 Elephants

SU4E's objective is to achieve better living conditions for the captive Asian Elephants of Nepal.
We are completely non-profit NGO registered in Belgium and based in Chitwan, Nepal. We provide direct aid where it is needed most for the benefit of elephants’ lives and general welfare including, notably, the replacement of the rides by walks (ELEPHANT HAPPY HOUR), the building of appropriate shelters to allow their unshackling and the coaching of the mahouts who handle them. Short and long term volunteering stays are possible, however, volunteers are required to make a commitment of at least two weeks (ONE month is the ideal)
