Summerbridge Hong Kong

Founded in 1992, Summerbridge Hong Kong (“Summerbridge”) is a non-profit organization, which creates unique educational opportunities for highly motivated, but socioeconomically underprivileged secondary school students in Hong Kong. It provides comprehensive year-round programs to develop students’ English communication, self-confidence, and interest in the learning process through an intensive English Language Development curriculum, small class size, individual mentoring, and hands-on learning strategies. Each summer, the students are immersed in an intense five-week, English-only environment, in which they are taught and mentored by a highly qualified group of international student teachers from local and overseas high schools and universities.
