Teachers for Africa

We are Stichting Docenten voor Afrika, or in other words, Teachers for Africa Foundation. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to realizing better education in the townships of South Africa. We do this through supporting and setting up a number of small-scale projects at schools near Cape Town and immediately adjacent to Kruger National Park. We support our South African partner schools, among other things, by sponsoring school and sports equipment, by jointly setting up learning centres, by awarding scholarship grants to graduating students and by specific knowledge exchange that our partner schools need. The education projects are directly sponsored and evaluated by us, without the intervention of other organizations. Therefore we are also directly involved in the progress and sustainability of the projects.
