Good course!

Really enjoyed my course, easy to use platform and good price! Was able to get a teaching job abroad soon after completing the course.

Very good price as I bought when on offer so defo a bargain. I have recommended this course to my friends who then got the 120 hour course and they are really enjoying it. I'm debating adding on the graded module to get the 120 hour certificate.

The free youtube videos are good but abit long. They could do with some shorter videos to watch. However the videos were really informative.

Laura joined UK-TEFL in October 2019 as our brand new PA. She has since grown in the company to run our Online TEFL platform including marketing, jobs board, and customer support.

What is your favorit travel memory?

Just before lockdown my partner and I were able to sneak off to New York. The whole trip was just ace and NY quickly became our favourite city. But the cherry on top of the trip was the surprise helicopter flight around Manhattan island! Yes, it was scary, but it really was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

When I first started I was a bit shy and unsure of myself. However I'm now so much more confident and I believe in myself to get my job done right. I'm now so much more sure of myself and no longer doubt every little move (or constantly read the procedures for each little task). I've also managed to gain another family, my colleagues (cringy, I know).

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

Gosh it's hard to pick the best one! We're really lucky to have lots of students get back in touch to tell us how UK-TEFL helped the,. Hearing about a student who managed to get a job in India leading classes for low income families was really great, as it's why she wanted to get her TEFL qualification in the first place.

f you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Probably the Live Online Virtual TEFL Course. The ability to create a classroom environment at home is something we're really proud of. The new course allows you to get TEFL qualified with teaching experience while staying at home in your PJ's. Plus you get face to face time with Anna, our amazing CELTA tutor, and all her experience.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

UK-TEFL is a small, close-knit team with a passion for quality courses and great customer service. We aim to make sure that every student enrolls on the course that's right for them and we support them right the way through the course. We are also TQUK accredited. We hate to see other companies use "accreditation mills" to sell poor quality courses to unsuspecting students.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Being reachable! Not only does a business need good products at a good price, but it also needs to be contactable. Nothing is worse than having a small issue and not being able to speak to someone at the company. That's why we have a Live Chat 24/7, as well as an email response time of under 24 hours.
