Universidad de Guadalajara

The University of Guadalajara is an institution inheriting an educational tradition of more than two hundred years of history. Currently, the University is developed from a network model that is integrated by six thematic university centers -pecialized in a disciplinary field and based in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Guadalajara-, nine regional university centers -with an interdisciplinary nature and established in different State regions-, a System of Higher Secondary Education -with 165 schools distributed throughout Jalisco-, as well as a Virtual University System, which offers higher education in distance learning.

To this day, the University of Guadalajara is an institution committed to academic excellence, social solidarity and humanist thinking, aspects that contribute to the sustainable development of Jalisco and Mexico, through education, innovation, science and the technology.
